The elite postman from the Octagon hinted at how the rematch between Kincle and Pukač could play out.
The final tournament of this year, presented by the Octagon, will offer two title battles, but the heated rematch between Patrik Kincle and Robert Pukač attracts attention. According to Daniel Škvor, who is also going to the event, it could be a balanced carving.
The charismatic postman reminded that Kincl is in an unenviable situation. He has two defeats in a row. “You’re crazy about this match,” he declared in an interview for iSport.cz.
Pukač uses this fact to his advantage and forwards that he will take care of the end of his career on Sunday. “He absolutely shouldn’t be swayed by Puck. If you’re swayed like that, you’re a weak match piece, so be it.” Skvor thinks. “If you’re a quality wrestler with the attributes you have, you shouldn’t let your opponent throw you around… You’re an animal, you’re going to tear him apart. Let him say what he wants, it’s just bullshit.”
He also recalled that the first fight was very balanced. According to him, the fact that it took place ten years ago does not play any major role. At the same time, however, he noted that Kincl then measured up to the true elite. “He lost, but it was with Mach [Muradovem]Soldić and similar guys who are completely out of touch with Pukač.”
He expects from Kincl that he will have thought out the match and will handle it technically. “But maybe this will be a problem, I haven’t seen it in any match with him so far – he should fight for me and go for a little blood… Don’t back down, want to hurt him, even though it’s a sport.”
He sees Skvor as an easy favorite for Kincl. However, he appreciates Pukač for his instinct – when he senses blood, he is able to finish off his opponent very quickly. After all, this is how he shot with Kozma and Eckerlin. “Robo’s gotten bigger, he’s stocky, he’s got huge legs. I can imagine a scenario where he takes it away and takes it with hard boxing.”
We will know the result of the match on Sunday evening, the Octagon 81 tournament starts at 18:00. On Saturday, there will be a prelude in the form of a traditional Oktagon Time press conference.
