Semen Padang achieve victory over Persija Jakarta in extension Super League. In a drama-filled match marked by two red cards, Semen Padang won 1-0.
From Semen Padang vs Persija in the 15th week of the Super League it was held at the H. Agus Salim Stadium, Padang, Monday (22/12/2025) evening WIB.
Persija had to play with 10 players from the 37th minute. Figo Dennis received a second yellow card after committing a foul on Irsyad Maulana.

Having a superior number of players, Semen Padang tried to apply pressure. The hosts had a chance through Angelo Meneses’ header, but the ball still hit the crossbar.
Even though they lost the number of players, Persija was able to put up resistance. However, Persija’s goal was finally broken in the 83rd minute.
Semen Padang broke the deadlock through a counterattack. Jordi Amat’s attempt to block the ball in front of the goal actually became an own goal.
Persija lost one player again in injury time. Fabio Calonego received a red card for elbowing a Semen Padang player. The referee made this decision after checking VAR.
Drama colored the final minutes of the match. Persija managed to break through Semen Padang’s goal through Maxwell Souza’s kick in the 100th minute.
However, after checking VAR, the referee disallowed Maxwell’s goal. The referee assessed that Allano committed a violation in the process of creating the goal.
With this result, Semen Padang has now collected 10 points in 16th place in the Super League standings. They are two points away from the safe zone.
Meanwhile, Persija failed to reclaim second place in the standings from the hands of Persib Bandung. The Kemayoran Tigers are stuck in third place with 29 points.
