It had been known for some time that both cyclo-cross teams would enter into an alliance. However, it would only come into effect during the next cyclo-cross season. This has now changed, to the extent that a new cyclo-cross team will be created from January 1, Charles Liégeois-Deschacht. The Walloon coffee roaster has committed to supporting the team for the next three seasons.
From the camp of Deschacht-Hens come European champion Toon Aerts, Victor Van De Putte, Sterre Vervloet and Ilken Seynaeve. A contract is also ready for junior Giel Lejeune, but he is also interested in the Roodhooft brothers. From the camp of Charles Liégeois, only Julie Brouwers and the Dutch promise Keije Solen remain. They will continue to ride on their CUBE bikes until the end of the cyclo-cross season.
Link met Wagner Bazin

This food producer entered into a pro-continental project with Wallonie Bruxelles last year, but that story had an inglorious ending. Wagner Bazin therefore applied for a continental license under the Belgian flag for 2026. The link with Lotto-Intermarché comes after the dissolution of Wanty – Nippo -ReUz, the training team of Intermarché – Wanty. The intention is to place the remaining riders with Wagner Bazin.
