Salles-Curan: Seniors’ Activity Cycle Complete

The first cycle of AS 60 + for the year 2025-2026 will soon end. Fred, the sports facilitator of the Lévézou mixed union, has already scheduled the next one and will give the calendar as well as the meeting places in due time, covering the 19 municipalities of the territory in turn. At the end of the year, badminton and mallet bowling were offered.

In the party room, a group of 8 to 10 seniors came to have fun while practicing an adapted sport: learning to handle the racket and the shuttlecock, playing small matches of badminton, throwing the mallet at the pins and trying to score more points than the opposing team, all under the watchful eye of Fred, punctuated by teasing between participants and bursts of laughter.

Last Tuesday, an intergenerational meeting brought together seniors and middle school students supervised by Christel, their PE teacher, for a shared moment to continue. Last session of the year: Tuesday December 16.
