Following Saturday night’s 3-3 draw with Leeds, Mohamed Salah had some eye-popping quotes to say the least in the mixed zone at Elland Road.
The Liverpool star, who was benched for the third game in a row, went on a hard attack against his own club.

The Egyptian also said he “doesn’t know what will happen” while he is away at the African Championships. The 33-year-old appeared to open the door for the home game against Brighton, the last before Salah departs, to be his last in a Liverpool shirt.
Now British Talksport states that there is “a big doubt” about whether Salah will be allowed to play in the matches against Inter on Tuesday and Brighton on Saturday. The site also states that Liverpool coach Arne Slot has the board’s full support in the matter.
The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool’s club management is still considering whether Salah should be punished for his comments. According to the newspaper, it is still unclear whether Salah is allowed to play against Inter and Brighton.
BBC Sport, in turn, states that the relationship between Salah and Slot has completely broken down. The BBC cites “sources with knowledge of the situation”, who state that Salah simply sees no future at Liverpool with Slot as coach.
Salah is also said, according to the BBC, to be of the opinion that Slot has been influenced by the TV pundits’ narrative that Salah is one of the main reasons why Liverpool are struggling this season.
Liverpool travel to Milan on Monday afternoon for the Champions League game on Tuesday. Arne Slot will then meet the press in Milan on Monday evening, and will then get to answer questions about Salah.
According to the Daily Mail, Salah was at Liverpool’s training facility on Sunday for a scheduled recovery session. The team trains again at 12.45 on Monday, Swedish time.
