The Sajra Basketball Club has carried out different activities throughout the year 2025, all of them framed within the subsidy received in the call for subsidies intended for non-profit associations in the province of Badajoz for the celebration of sports activities.
The basketball club takes stock of the year and remembers the activities that have been carried out.
Framed in the activities of International Women’s Day, on March 8, another basketball day was organized.
On May 24, the fourth edition of its 3×3 Championship was successfully held at Parque de la Paz. They also held a tournament to close the season.
During 2025 it has participated in coexistence with clubs of other sports that exist in the town. In summer it held its II Summer Campus and the III Summer League.
With the aim of promoting women’s basketball, it launched a series of training sessions aimed at mothers and former players, as well as creating an inclusive team.
All these activities have been possible thanks to this call for aid from the Badajoz Provincial Council, of which the club has been a beneficiary with an amount of 2,000 euros.
The club wants to value the unity that exists in the group, as well as thanking family and friends for their support.
