RVS/LU Volleyball: Baltic League Win vs. Latvia U-18

Renāte Kate Krūklīte scored 12 points for the winners, while Katrīna Laura Zariņa had nine points, eight of them with “eyes”. Alice Ārmale and Justīne Rēdliha scored eight points each for the opponents.

“Rīga Stradiņa University” is fourth with 21 points in ten games, RVS/LU ranks seventh with ten points in ten matches, but the Latvian U-18 national team/RVS has no points in ten duels and occupies the last place in the nine-team competition.

Latvia is represented in the league this season by 2024/2025. bronze medalist of the tournament “Rīga Stradiņa University” (RSU), “Rīga Volleyball School”/”University of Latvia” (RVS/LU) and Latvian U-18 National Team/”Rīga Volleyball School” (Latvian U-18 National Team/RVS), champion Jiri “Rae Spordikool/Viaston”, “University of Tartu”/”Bigbank” (Tartu TU/”Bigbank”) and Tallinn “Audentese SG”, but Lithuania is represented by last season’s vice-champion “Kaunas-VDU”, Vilnius “VMSM Sostines tauras – VTC” and the Lithuanian U-18 national team.

In the previous season, the Estonian team “Rae Spordikool”/”Viaston” became the champions, the silver medals were won by the Lithuanian team “Kaunas-VDU”, and the bronze medals were won by the “Rīgas Stradiņa University”/”Murjāņi Sports Gymnasium” (RSU/MSŘ) team.
