PSV Coach Peter Bosz talked about Fenerbahçe’s player Joey Veerman, who is on the transfer agenda, at the press conference.
In the 17th week of the Dutch Eredivisie, PSV defeated its guest Utrecht 2-1 away.
VEERMAN ASSISTED
Utrecht finished the match played at Galgenwaard Stadium 1-0 ahead with Mike Van der Hoorn’s goal in the 31st minute.
PSV, on the other hand, scored 3 points in the second half with goals from Ricardo Pepi and Ivan Perisic.
Joey Veerman assisted on Perisic’s goal.
BEFORE THE MATCH HE SAID “AT LEAST ONE MORE MATCH”
Before the Utrecht match, PSV Coach Peter Bosz said, “Let’s enjoy him for at least one more match. I had a short conversation with him and he explained the process to me. Then we talked only about this match. The most important thing for me is this match and the focus of my players. I want to know whether he can play this match with 100 percent performance.”

STATEMENT FOR JOEY VEERMAN
After the match, PSV coach Peter Bosz made a statement about the future of 27-year-old midfielder Joey Veerman, Fenerbahçe’s number 1 transfer target.
Here are Bosz’s words;
“IT HAS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN OUR GAME”
“Considering how important Veerman has been for PSV so far and perhaps will be in the future, he is a good footballer who plays a very important role in our game.”
“HE HAS SPECIAL QUALITIES THAT NO ONE ELSE HAS”
“That’s the challenge if your team is doing well and every piece fits together. Then every player that leaves is a loss. That goes for Joey Veerman, who has special qualities that no one else on the roster has. So if someone leaves, we’re going to have to play differently every time.”

“I WANT IT TO STAY”
“Of course I want Veerman to stay. He is an important and unique player for us. We are good friends, it is great to be with him. Both off the field and on the field.”

“I TALKED ABOUT TRANSFER”
“I talked to Veerman about his transfer, but I will not give him advice. I think it is his decision. He is not a 17-18 year old kid. This is his career. He and his family will think about this issue thoroughly. The decision is entirely theirs.”
