Reborn Wins NBA Africa Accelerator 2025: Moroccan Startup Success

The Moroccan sports tech startup Reborn has been crowned the grand winner of the NBA Africa Triple-Double Accelerator 2025, standing out among more than 700 organizations from 32 African countries. The achievement comes just days before the start of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025), further strengthening Morocco’s position as a continental leader capable of developing solutions with global reach.

Reborn specializes in performance technologies powered by data and artificial intelligence, currently used by training centers and academies across Morocco. As winner, the startup will receive $25,000 in funding, a 12-month incubation within the Business Incubation Program at Carnegie Mellon University, $10,000 in API credits, an «exclusive immersion with OpenAI engineers at their global headquarters», and integration into the innovation ecosystems of NBA Africa, ALX Ventures, ServiceNow, and CMU-Africa.

According to a press release, this recognition «celebrates African talent, Moroccan ambition, and the future of sports performance», supported by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Evosport, and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
