Paris FC has drawn a Petit Poucet but a name accustomed to the Coupe de France. For its entry into the running in the 32nd final of the biggest football competition, the Parisians travel to the Vosges, to the lawn of Raon-l’Étape.
Resident of R1 for the first time in more than 30 years, the Vosges have already passed six rounds, they who launched their competition from the 3rd round. They notably took out Mulhouse (N3) on penalties during the previous round.
The Parisians must therefore be wary of a team experienced in cup games. They will logically start as large favorites but will have to show seriousness to hope to win. Especially since Ilan Kebbal, their playing master, will already have left for the CAN.
A big blow for a team that hasn’t won any of its last five games. And, despite sparkling recruitment, they finished in a disappointing 14th place at mid-season.
The kickoff of the 32nd final between Raon-l’Étape and Paris FC is scheduled for Saturday December 30, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be broadcast on BeIN Sports 1.
