Juventus is considering signing with Feyenoord for Quinten Timber, various Italian media write. The Italian top club sees the Dutch international as a cheap reinforcement for the midfield.
The Old Lady wants to strengthen itself this winter with a physically strong midfielder, who is also creative. Timber fits perfectly into that picture and also seems to be an affordable option.
The 24-year-old midfielder has an expiring contract at Feyenoord. It is unclear how much Juventus would be willing to pay to buy out this contract.
According to Transfer market Timber is worth 25 million euros, but Feyenoord will not receive that amount in the current situation.
In addition to Timber, Xaver Schlager (RB Leipzig), Adrián Bernabé (Parma) and Davide Frattesi (Inter) are also in the picture at Juventus.
At Juventus, Timber could become a teammate of Teun Koopmeiners, one of his competitors on the Dutch national team.
The 36-time national champion is currently in fifth place in Serie A. In the competition phase of the Champions League Juve seventeenth.
