In the final of the Intercontinental Cup, Paris Saint-Germain will face Brazilian club CR Flamengo on Wednesday (6 p.m.) in Doha (Qatar).
Last year, Real Madrid won the first edition of the event initiated by the world football association FIFA. Flamengo reached the final on Saturday with a win against Pyramids FC from Egypt. Paris, as Champions League winners, was set for the final.
The Intercontinental Cup replaced FIFA’s former Club World Cup after it was converted into a 32-team quadrennial tournament.
