PSG: Pre-Training Turmoil & Manager’s Response

There will be changes in the organization chart of the academy at Paris Saint-Germain. Former player of the training center who became head of pre-training, after training the U16, U15 then the U14, Bafodé Diakhaby, 36, is preparing to leave the Parisian club. He could join Liverpool, where his name comes up repeatedly.

In recent weeks, the daily newspaper “L’Équipe” revealed that he had taken time off work after a difficult season on a personal level. His departure is not neutral, since it comes after almost ten years as an educator with the Rouge et Bleu.

To succeed him as head of pre-training, PSG would have made an internal proposal to Germain Borg, current coach of the U15 team, formerly at FC Mantois, who has not yet accepted the conditions.

In all likelihood, this strategic position should lead to new discussions in the upper echelons of the club. The U14 team is currently still coached by Djamel Fredj, former assistant to Diakhaby.
