Man Utd 2-1 Lead: First Half Report

Manchester United winning 2-1 over Bournemouth in the first half. Casemiro’s goal just before the break put the Red Devils ahead at the break.

MU vs Bournemouth in the Premier League match which took place at Old Trafford, Tuesday (16/12/2025), the Red Devils appeared to be pressing at the start of the match.

MU had a chance through Mason Mount. Mount’s shot was blocked by Djordje Petkovic in the 8th minute.

Gol!!! MU opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Diogo Dalot’s pass failed to be cut by Petkovic. The ball fell to Amad Diallo’s feet. Diallo controlled the ball then headed it into the goal.

The hosts had a chance to add a goal in the 26th minute. Brian Mbeumo can stab into the penalty box. However, his shot was too weak for Petkovic to save.

Bournemouth tried to respond. They had a golden opportunity when Marcus Tavarnier was able to head in a cross from the right side. MU survived conceding after Senne Lammens was able to parry the ball.

In the 36th minute, the visitors had another chance. Justin Kluivert received a pass from Evanilson in front of the goal. Justin’s control was not good enough that Lammens was able to attack.

Buying and selling attacks occurred in the middle of the first half. It was MU’s turn to have a chance through Casemiro in the 38th minute.

Casemiro finds space on the left side of the penalty box. He shot but didn’t find the target.

Gol!!! Antoine Semenyo got the ball after Luke Shaw lost the duel on the left. Semenyo stabbed into the penalty box then fired a low shot into the right corner of the MU goal.

Gol!!! Casemiro, who was standing at the far post, was able to head home a corner from Bruno Fernandes. Petkovic couldn’t stop his header.

Score 2-1 for MU to close the first half.
