PSG delights. Scheduled for December 17 in Doha (Qatar), the final of the Intercontinental Cup will see Paris Saint-Germain face an opponent who will only be known a few days before. For the occasion, the capital club chose to offer a nice early Christmas gift to some of its supporters. The most loyal occupants of the Parc des Princes must have had a nice surprise when going through their mailbox this Friday.
The capital club has in fact decided to offer two travel offers to its subscribers, as well as to anyone who has attended at least four home matches since the start of the season.
A price of 150 to 200 euros
For 150 or 200 euros, the reigning European champion gave his fans the opportunity to treat themselves to a package including plane transport and the meal served on board, the ticket to see the match as well as on-site transport. The price varies depending on the comfort desired during the trip.
The number of places being largely limited, the club wanted to warn that the sale would be done “on a first come, first served basis”. And there was no shortage of it: all the formulas offered this Monday were sold in the space of a few minutes.
In January, Paris Saint-Germain offered a similar offer to 250 of its supporters during the Champions Trophy, won against AS Monaco in Doha. At the time, supporters were able to benefit from a package including plane transport, hotel night with catering included, match ticket, on-site transport and various activities on the day of the match for the modest sum of 100 euros. The club repeated this offer in July for the Club World Cup semi-final against Real Madrid at MetLife Stadium in New York, this time for 500 euros.
