Pellegrini’s Daughter: Matilde’s Health Update

“We’re in trouble and Matilde is much better.” With these words Federica Pellegrini she returned to social media to update on her daughter’s health condition after being hospitalized for febrile convulsions.

The former swimmer had recounted the difficult episode in a post published on social media yesterday, Tuesday 9 December, explaining that she had gone there urgently with little Matilde. “Dear diary… When these things happen you understand that the rest is all superfluous… It’s the third time it happens and every time it means losing years and years of life in fear!”, Pellegrini had written describing the sudden increase in the little girl’s temperature.

“Febrile convulsions, her temperature rises quickly, this time she was sleeping so we didn’t put the Tachipirina straight away and after a minute she went into lockdown… Eyes up, head back and breathing that slowly stopped… We woke her up after a very short time (but it seemed like a lifetime) with a wet towel, trying to lower her temperature. My mother sang her all the little songs she knew in the direction of the hospital to keep her awake and here we are… since yesterday… Pappus arrived in a rush from Poland and we are here for her… waiting to return home. And as soon as she gets better we will obviously carry out all the necessary checks and let’s hope it doesn’t happen again, my heart.”

A few hours later, the message from Divina which reassures the followers: “Thank you all for the messages of affection. We are in trouble and Matilde is much better”.
