/VIDEO/ Pardubice awaits another derby with Hradec Králové after less than two weeks. This time, however, football. The Hradec Klub published a video on the social network, which, however, may raise questions.
In recent months, it has become a tradition that both rivals before mutual matches they publish more or less funny videos on their social networks, which are meant to entertain the fans and at the same time poke fun at the opponents. The Hradec Klub started this last year, when it exaggeratedly compared Pardubice to a village, while Hradec portrayed it as a “royal city”.

However, the verbal and visual firefight is gradually intensifying. Before Sunday derby at the Arnošta Košťála stadium, FC Hradec Králové compared his opponent to garbage.
In the video, which loosely follows on from the summer episode, the club mascot Mr. Lízátko shyly touches a package that “arrived from Pardubice”. Subsequently, the individual objects are carefully sorted and thrown into the bins for paper, plastic and mixed waste. Finally, he breaks the gingerbread heart and throws it in the container. The entire video concludes with the slogan: “Sort not only waste from Pardubice” and the slogan “Sport without waste” also appears at the end.

The marketing game of both clubs is primarily supposed to be fun, but this particular video raised the bar a bit higher. This raises the question of whether it is really necessary to push the rivalry to the point of comparing the entire city and its people to garbage – or whether the two rivals should “sort it out” on the field. On Sunday, it will be clear what will be louder in the end: social networks or football itself.
