Osaka Univ. Basketball: Women’s Loss to Takushoku University

The second round of the women’s tournament for the 77th All-Japan University Basketball Championship was held on December 11th at the Ota Ward General Gymnasium in Tokyo.

Osaka University of Physical Education will play against Takushoku University, which came in 3rd place last time. They lost 66-83 and did not advance to the quarterfinals.
Osaka University of Physical Education led 24-22 in the first quarter and 19-19 in the second quarter, but they were up 15-23 in the third quarter and trailed 8-19 in the fourth quarter.

For Osaka University of Physical Education, Maho Mitsugi (3rd year physical education, Hiroshima Minami) scored 16 points, Nanami Ito (4th year, Faculty of Physical Education, Chiba Keizai University High School), Ievidun・Grace (3rd year, Faculty of Physical Education, Kurashiki Suimatsu High School, Okayama) each scored 11 points, and Nanami Kawai (4th year, Faculty of Physical Education, Nara Bunka High School) scored 10 points, but they were not able to match.
