According to AS Colombiathe Marseille leaders transmitted a proposal of 15 million euros to recruit Jorge Carrascal, targeted to strengthen the midfield of Roberto De Zerbi’s team.
Flamengo, winner of the 2025 Copa Libertadores, would have rejected this offer. The Carioca club would require at least 20 million to release a regular starter from its eleven. This bidding war would aim to discourage OM, the leaders of the Auriverde club wishing to keep the player until the end of the season.
