Facts Olivia Lindstedt

24-year-old Olivia Lindstedt, born on Wednesday 23 May 2001, began her football career in Glumslövs FF with her father Peter as the team’s leader. Before the 2019 season, she started playing for FC Rosengård’s F19 team, where she accounted for twelve goals in 14 games during her first season in the Malmö club. In the third round of OBOS Damallsvenskan 2019, Olivia had to sit on the bench for the first time with FC Rosengård’s A-team in the away match against KIF Örebro DFF, which ended 0–4, where Olivia did not get any playing time during the match. The debut for FC Rosengård’s A team came instead on 8 September 2019 in the qualifiers for the Swedish Cup group stage 2020 away against Dösjöbro IF. The match ended with a 5–0 win for FC Rosengård where Olivia played the whole match and scored in the 49th minute of the match.

The month after graduating in June 2020, Olivia signed her first A team contract with reigning champions FC Rosengård. On November 8, 2020, the debut in the OBOS Damallsvenskan came, after Olivia was substituted in place of Caroline Seger in the 89th minute of the match in the 0–3 victory away to Piteå IF.

In early 2021, Olivia moved to Florida, USA, to play for the university team, Florida Gulf Coast Eagles. Olivia started all 18 games and had one goal and three assists during her time in the States. Before 2022, Olivia moved back to Malmö to play in FC Rosengård. On the tenth of August 2022, AIK Football communicated that they had agreed with Olivia and FC Rosengård regarding a loan. She managed to play eight games during the fall and was noted for one goal. This came in the home derby against Djurgården IF, which ended 4–2 to the Blue Stripes.

On the seventh of February 2023, it was clear that AIK, Olivia and FC Rosengård had agreed to extend the loan agreement over the 2023 season. There would be a total of 29 matches during the year, where the distribution of matches was 24 in the Elitettan – as well as five in the Swedish Cup. Olivia’s first goal in the Elitettan would come against Eskilstuna United in the 15th round – when in the 69th minute of the match she determined the final score 3-0.

Two loan spells into the 2024 season, it was clear that the move to AIK was a permanent one as she signed a deal that runs until December 31, 2025. Olivia has been a versatile and reliable player ever since she first joined the club in 2022, making 87 competitive appearances in the AIK shirt to date.
