Trotting is a form of equestrian sport that focuses on speed. Also called Horse Racing / Horse Racing / Horse Races. In harness racing, a horse is not ridden, but the picker is located in a sulky behind the horse. The horse that runs in front of the sulky is usually a trotter bred and trained specifically for that purpose.
Harnessing is held on trotting and racing tracks (also on short track or grass track races). There are 4 jobs available in the Netherlands, namely in: Groningen, Wolvega, The Hague (Duindigt) and Alkmaar. Most professional competitions where betting can be placed are held in Wolvega and Duindigt.
In addition, there are short courses at various locations in the Netherlands (Kortbaan Beverwijk, Santpoort, Voorschoten, Zandvoort, IJmuiden, Nootdorp, Stompwijk and Warmond) and grass courses in Lattrop, Staphorst, Joure and Hilversum. The Nakoersen Foundation keeps track of the results. Racing means speed competitions with ridden horses.
As one of the few sports in the Netherlands, trotting and racing can also be bet commercially. Dravers and Bokt are Champions! Betting on horse racing or betting on horse racing? Do it now!
