Nice 0-1 Braga: Europa League Struggles & Losing Streak

Zero points. Again. Stuck in a dramatic situation, OGC Nice lost this Thursday for the eighth time in a row. A defeat against Braga, in the Europa League, which leaves the Niçois with their dunce cap and zero points on the European scene. An industrial disaster that even the last two matches, against Go Ahead Eagles and Ludogorets in January, cannot save.

The results are disastrous, the match less so. Although they left the ball to their Portuguese opponents, the Aiglons still created the biggest chances. Isak Jansson and Kevin Carlos could have scored one or the other goals, but they never managed to surprise Lukas Hornicek. Abandoned by their supporters in a sadly empty Allianz Riviera, the Niçois have nothing to be ashamed of their performance.

Nice eliminated

However, the result is once again disappointing and the results are completely negative. With zero points, Nice is already eliminated from the Europa League even before the last two matches of the league phase. In Ligue 1, the Gym is sliding towards the bottom of the ranking with a 12th place, only five points ahead of the current play-off Auxerre. A very sad situation.

Will Nice supporters lose patience again in the coming days? On November 30, upon returning from the trip to Lorient which ended in a heavy defeat (3-1), the Nice squad and staff were welcomed in a terribly hostile atmosphere. Several players and members of management had mentioned beatings, which the supporters denied. Terem Moffi and Jérémie Boga were notably placed in ITT. The scenario could quickly repeat itself.
