12/25~27 Nexus Women’s 14th U15 Club Basketball Games
Nexus Girls participated in the 14th U15 Club Basketball Games from December 25th to 27th.
This tournament, commonly known as the “All Clubs,” was the only national tournament for club teams before the Jr. Winter Cup began.
Since the start of the Jr. Winter Cup, there have been various preliminaries for all clubs depending on the runner-up team and prefecture, but there is no doubt that this is a championship with 47 teams from all over the country competing for the championship, so it is a valuable tournament and a great tournament for third-year students.
The Nexus girls qualified for the prefectural tournament in 2nd place, but their captain was unable to participate in the prefectural tournament due to illness, so they were all happy to be able to play together and competed with the aim of winning the national championship!
Although we lost the first match, we were able to experience strong play, and we were also able to play exchange games on the second and third days, allowing us to experience many games with this team in Aichi Prefecture!
This was the last chance for the 3rd graders to play a game as their main activity, and I think they were able to play basketball to their heart’s content!
Practice will continue until March, and at the end of the year there will be an expedition involving third-year students.
From now on, I want them to practice hard for high school and study hard for the entrance exams, while working to leave behind a good culture for their juniors!
Thank you to all the 3rd graders for your hard work!
