Neeraj Chopra-Himani Mor Reception: PM Modi Attends Karnal Event

India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra and his wife Himani Mor hosted their reception in grand style last Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended his reception.

New Delhi: India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, popularly known as Golden Boy, married Himani Mor in January 2025. However, now after 11 months, Neeraj and Himani held a grand reception in Karnal on 27th December (Saturday). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has added charm to his reception. Modi also appeared in the reception. His couple photos and pictures are also going viral.

Let us tell you that Narendra Modi had recently hosted Neeraj Chopra and his wife Himani Mor at his official residence 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. The Prime Minister had also shared pictures of the meeting between the two on social media. Neeraj, the first Indian to win Olympic gold in athletics, had informed about his marriage in January. He shared a very simple post on Instagram. While sharing the post, Neeraj wrote, ‘I am starting a new chapter of life with my family. I am thankful for all those blessings because of which we are here today.

Himani Mor also has a special relationship with sports

25-year-old former tennis player Himani Mor, resident of Sonipat, is a graduate from Miranda House. He has obtained a master’s degree in Sports Management from Franklin Pierce University of America. He represented India in the ‘World University Games’ held in Taipei in 2017. Additionally, he also won the gold medal in the 2016 ‘World Junior Tennis Championship’.

Neeraj Chopra has won 2 Olympic medals

Neeraj Chopra has won two medals for India in the Olympics. Earlier he had won the gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Then Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
