Mototherapy: Patient Smiles & Wellbeing

Wednesday, December 24, 2025, 12:04

Once again this year, freestyle motocross rider Antonio Navas and his team visited a center to perform ‘mototherapy’, which consists of putting patients on a motorcycle and taking a ride around the hospital. An initiative that offers an incredible feeling of adrenaline and happiness.

Navas was in charge of bringing a smile and providing an unforgettable moment to several patients who were able to ride his motorcycle. The pilot, with great skill, runs through the hallways of the health center to the delight of everyone.

An initiative, organized by the Lleides motorcyclist association, which they have been carrying out since 2016, although it was interrupted for a year and a half due to Covid-19. «The idea is for them to feel the adrenaline and speed. The truth is that they are doing well to gain positivity,” he explained last year to ‘Canarias 7’.

The pilot, who has more than 100 thousand followers on Instagram and 260 thousand on TikTok, has published the video on his social networks. Some images that have been very well received among Internet users, who have applauded the gesture of this motor professional. «It is because of people like you that I continue to believe in humanity. Small details are what make people great,” writes one user.

In other videos they show how to prepare to do this. The first thing is to transport the motorcycle to the hospital. The first thing they do is disinfect both the vehicle and the boots of the pilot, who always wears a mask to protect patients from possible viruses. Once the motorcycle is clean, they take it up in an elevator to the corresponding floor, put decorations on it and put the patients on it. A special day that you will surely not forget.
