While Guerschon Yabusele is struggling to make his mark in New York, a French rookie is asserting himself in the Knicks squad. For his third start, and his second in a row in the NBA, Mohamed Diawara scored 18 points in his team’s victory on the Pelicans floor this Tuesday (130-125).

Excellent from the start, the former Choletais allowed the Knicks to get off to a perfect start, scoring 13 units in the first quarter. Perfect at 3 points (4/4), the winger showed all his versatility, adding 2 interceptions and 1 rebound to his stats sheet. A production appreciated by his coach, Mike Brown.
“Mo kept us in the game by hitting big shots. The more he’s on the court, the more comfortable he gets. It was really fun to watch.”
