Salah and his friends will next face South Africa on Friday (26/12) and Angola on Monday (29/12).

Egypt will try to bring home the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations trophy. Egypt is the biggest collector of the Africa Cup of Nations, winning a total of seven titles. It’s just that Egypt last became champion 15 years ago.

At the Africa Cup of Nations two years ago, Egypt only reached the round of 16 because they lost to Congo.

In this year’s continental event, Egypt did not only rely on Salah and Marmoush. There are Mostafa Mohamed, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Hamdy Fathy, Ramy Rabia, and Mohamed Hany.
