The Detroit Pistons, at the top of the Eastern Conference (20-5), crushed the Atlanta Hawks 142-115, despite Jalen Johnson’s new triple-double (19 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists), the 5th this season.
The Pistons took off in the 2nd quarter thanks to a great collective effort, with eight players at 10 points or more.
Zaccharie Risacher scored 10 points for the Hawks, still without their leader Trae Young.
The Chicago Bulls ended a series of seven defeats by winning 129 to 126 in Charlotte, with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists from Australian Josh Giddey, compared to 33 points from rookie Kon Knueppel.
