Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) continues to reap the rewards day by day as a result of the importance it attaches to sports and athletes. ALKÜ athletes, who achieved success in various organizations in the field of sports, were honored by ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. They also visit Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan and share their pride. In this context, the ALKÜ Men’s Basketball team, which qualified to participate in the Turkish championship as the undefeated Champion with 5 out of 5 in the ÜNİLİG Basketball Regional Championship, the ALKÜ Women’s Basketball Team, which came second in the same championship, and the women’s darts team, which came first in the women’s category in the Inter-University Darts Championship, visited Rector Türkdoğan. During the visit at ALKÜ Senate Hall, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç, Prof. Dr. Atıf Bayramoğlu, Prof. Dr. Işık Bayraktar, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Hamdi Alper Güngörmüş, ALKÜ Health, Culture and Sports Department Head Volkan Avcu, basketball teams and darts team coach Res. See. Onur Ceyhan, basketball teams manager Dr. Lecturer Member Duran Akbaş and academicians attended.
ALKU DIFFERENCE IN BOXING
Another visit was made by Mustafa Sümer, a first year student of ALKÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Recreation, and also the Head Coach of the U15 Women’s National Boxing Team, and his students. During the visit here, Yağmur Eryurt, the European second in the European Boxing Championship held in Budva, Montenegro, Turkish Champion Deniz Bekiz, Turkey’s second Beren Tunçeri, ALKÜ student Hatice Kübra Göçer, who came third in Turkey, met with Rector Türkdoğan and explained their success.
