Mikael Dyrestam: New Contract Details

ÖIS Fotboll announces that center back Mikael Dyrestam has signed a new contract that extends to 2027.

Dyrestam came to ÖIS ahead of the 2024 season and has, during his two years in red and blue, grown into a tone-setting player and a real leader in the back line. So far, he has made 50 competitive matches for the Society. The previous agreement expired after the 2026 season, but now it is clear that he will stay for another year as the club and player agreed on a new agreement.

Pontus Farnerud, sports manager ÖIS Football

  • Mikael has been and is very important to ÖIS. Since he came to ÖIS, he has taken on a great deal of responsibility both on and off the pitch. It feels very good to extend Mikael’s contract, that together we want ÖIS to continue to develop and that Mikael really wants to be and will be an important part of the way forward.

  • I am proud to continue the journey with ÖIS. We have something strong going on and I’m really looking forward to the next few seasons together.
