An intense and competitive season
The Iberdrola PRO League 2025 It has been, once again, the showcase of the best women’s surfing in our country. Throughout the three scoring events, the participating surfers have shown commitment, talent and great competitive maturity, in varied and, at times, complex conditions.
This year, in addition, the circuit has had very close technical and organizational monitoring by the Spanish Surfing Federation team, which has made it possible to understand even better the particularities of each event and adjust the competition format to the realities of the women’s sports calendar.
Sports commitment and organizational quality
The Spanish Surfing Federation recognizes and appreciates the commitment shown by the athletes, many of whom have made a great effort to make their international calendars compatible with the dates of the circuit. Thinking about the surfers and offering them quality competitive conditions is, and will continue to be, an absolute priority for this Federation.
A structure that advances, with self-criticism and ambition
The circuit has established itself as a national reference, but we are also aware that there is still room for improvement. In this first year of management, it has been especially important for the Federation’s new management team to experience every detail of the circuit from within: the successes, the last-minute adjustments, the learnings.
This experience will allow us to address the next steps with greater depth and judgment.
Recognition to the technical team and judgesWe want to highlight the impeccable work of the Technical Department of the Federationas well as the judging teams at each stop on the circuit. Their professionalism has been essential to guarantee a rigorous development of the competition.
Thanks to Iberdrola, driving force of women’s surfing
