Dulic Transfer Value: €1.3M & Market Update

The popular online portal Transfermarkt.de has updated the market values in the third division – with a small setback for TSV 1860 Munich: The total market value of the Munich Lions has been revised downwards by 400,000 euros. The Kauczinski team, which wintered in 8th place, now has 8.8 million euros. Only Stuttgart (13.1 million), Hoffenheim II (11.1 million) and Rostock (10.6 million) have a better squad value.

1860 defensive talent Sean Dulic made another leap forward: The U20 national player improved his value from one million euros to 1.3 million – which is an increase of 300,000 euros. Is he the next lion talent with whom the third division dinosaur can cash in? Dulic’s rocket start is remarkable, especially since the home-grown team only celebrated its third division debut a year ago under Agis Giannikis. He came on as a substitute shortly before the end of the 3-0 win in Essen on December 8th. Dulic delivers consistently and was recently able to establish himself in the German U20 national team. A good stage to present his exciting profile of two-footedness, progressive style of play and speed,” says market value admin Sebastian Öttl about the most valuable Lion professional in the squad. Dulic is now one of the most valuable players in the third league.

In addition to Dulic, there are also other winners at 1860: Clemens Lippmann, now a regular at Giesinger, improved to 250,000 euros, Samuel Althaus to 100,000 euros and Lasse Faßmann to 75,000 euros. It’s a bit surprising that Sigurd Haugen wasn’t able to make an increase on transfermarkt.de – and so the Norwegian striker remains at 500,000 euros.

But there are also numerous losers on Grünwalder Straße – according to the portal, this includes ex-national player Kevin Volland. After a loss of 200,000 euros, the 33-year-old dropped to 500,000 euros. “A significant devaluation for the star of 1860 Munich, who is struggling to adapt to the 3rd league after returning to the club he loves – the fact that he is approaching 34 also plays a role,” explains market value administrator Johannes Netzer. It is Volland’s lowest market value since 2010. At the age of 18, Volland had exactly this market value in the Lions’ second division team. Florian Niederlechner (350,000 euros), Maxi Wolfram (250,000), Tunay Deniz (250,000), Philipp Maier (250,000), Max Christiansen (400,000), Morris Schröter (175,000), Tim Danhof (225,000), Marvin Rittmüller (450,000), Kilian Jakob were also revised downwards (225,000), Manuel Pfeifer (500,000), Raphael Schifferl (275,000) and even Thomas Dähne (350,000).

db24 says: Many of the value corrections are understandable – but not those by Thomas Dähne and Philipp Maier. Both are among the newcomers this first half of the season. If the age of 31 was the only deciding factor for Dähne, that would be a weak argument: the Oberaudorf native still has a few strong years ahead of him as a goalkeeper. And the fact that Sigurd Haugen remains stuck with his 500,000 euros is also debatable.
