O Vasco hopes to negotiate the club’s Football Corporation (SAF) in 2026. According to information from gePedrinho, president of Cruzmaltino, negotiates control of the company with businessman Marcos Faria Lamacchia.
He is the son of José Roberto Lamacchia, founder of Banco Crefisa, and stepson of Leila Pereira, president of Palm trees. Marcos Lamacchia is a businessman, 47 years old, and was born from the old marriage between José Roberto Lamacchia and Junia Faria, daughter of banker Aloysio de Andrade Faria, who was included in the magazine’s list of billionaires Forbes. Aloysio passed away in 2020.
Marcos has a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and Business Law from the University of Miami, in the United States. The businessman also specializes in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and was previously director of Crefisa between 2004 and 2009.
In 2008, when he was still working at his father’s bank, Marcos participated in the founding of the company Blue Star – where he currently holds the position of CEO. The company, based in São Paulo, provides financial and investment consultancy and has, as one of its partners, the mother, Junia.
On social media, Marcos Lamacchia has a low profile and rarely appears publicly.

Vasco’s SAF is currently divided into three parts: 30% of the shares belong to the associative club. Another 31% is under the umbrella of 777 Partners, a company that acquired the stake in 2022.
The remaining 39% are under dispute in an arbitration court. For Cruzmaltino to negotiate this slice, an agreement or a court decision favorable to Vasco would be necessary.
