Apart from looking for experienced footballers, they are also looking for young talent as a long-term investment.
One of the young stars that United is reaching out to is Cristian Orozco.
The 17 year old midfielder stole attention through his performance with Fortaleza CEIF.
Orozco was a key player for Colombia when they achieved runner-up status in the 2025 U-17 Copa America.
United consider Orozco an exciting prospect with the potential to play for the first team.
The two camps have reached an initial agreement to sign the contract.
However, Orozco was only able to join the Man United squad when he was 18 years old.
Until the time comes, the wonderkid will continue to defend Fortaleza CEIF.
