Lumajang Police Donate to 2025 SEA Games Thailand

LUMAJANG, KOMPAS.com – Three members of the Lumajang Resort Police (Polres), East Java, succeeded in donating gold medals to the Thailand SEA Games.

Three National Police personnel who serve in the Lumajang Police Satsamapta brought home gold medals from the Men’s Indoor Hockey sport.

The three police officers are Bripda Andrea Gutara Adi Very Sandrea, Bripda Muhammad Hendri Firdaus and Bripda Ferdian Father Rahman.

They performed brilliantly in the match which was held at Thailand National Sports University, Nong Mai Daeng, Chonburi, Saturday (19/12/2025).

One of the athletes who won gold, Bripda Muhammad Hendri Firdaus, said he was proud to be able to provide the best results for Indonesia.

“We are very happy and proud to be able to present a gold medal to the Indonesian contingent.”

“This victory is motivation for us to continue to excel and make the nation proud,” said Bripda Hendri through the Head of Public Relations of the Lumajang Police, Ipda Untoro at the Lumajang Police Headquarters, Monday (22/12/2025).

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Men’s National Indoor Hockey Team secured a gold medal after defeating Malaysia in a fierce final match.

The match was tight from the start until it ended in a 4-4 draw in normal time.

Indonesia finally emerged as champion after winning the point shooting shootout with a score of 2-1.

Untoro said that Lumajang Police Chief AKBP Alex Sandy Siregar immediately expressed his appreciation to his members.

“The Lumajang Police Chief expressed his highest appreciation to the three members of the Lumajang Police who succeeded in making Indonesia and the National Police institution proud at the 2025 SEA Games,” explained Untoro.

This achievement, said Untoro, is proof that members of the Indonesian National Police are not only professional in their police duties, but are also able to excel in international sports.

“It is hoped that this success will be an inspiration for other Lumajang Police personnel to continue to excel, maintain a spirit of discipline, and bring a good name to the institution in various fields,” he added.

Currently, the three police officers are still in Jakarta to receive various awards.

“Now we are still in Jakarta,” he concluded.
