Loredana & Adeyemi: New Role at BVB

BVB star Karim Adeyemi misbehaves against Gladbach and receives a penalty from the club. His celebrity wife apparently doesn’t like it at all. Rapper Loredana, the bigger star of the two, is still upset during the game.

Despite Borussia Dortmund’s 2-0 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach, it is less the result that is causing discussions than an emotional outburst. At the center of the excitement: Karim Adeyemi. The 23-year-old offensive player committed a scene that has internal consequences – including a fine. Now his wife Loredana is also speaking out publicly.

And that’s what happened: Immediately after the start of the second half, Adeyemi clashed with Gladbach’s Kevin Diks. He has two verbal battles with his opponents and referee Sven Jablonski. BVB coach Niko Kovac reacted immediately and took the attacker off the field in the 60th minute when the score was 1-0 for Dortmund. Adeyemi angrily marched towards the dressing room, but was stopped by sports director Sebastian Kehl and sent to the substitutes’ bench. He sat there frustrated for the rest of the game.

Rapper Loredana had no understanding for her husband’s replacement. In a story on Instagram, the 30-year-old wrote during the game: “Can it please just stay like that now? I’m going crazy… I’d love for Dortmund to just win, with or without Karim 😀 BUT PLEASE BROTHER HOW CAN YOU SEND KARIM OUT.”

Kehl announces fine for Adeyemi

After the final whistle of the game, Kehl found clear words on “Sky”. “I told him: He doesn’t go into the dressing room, he sits there. And to be honest, the substitution was totally justified. Karim didn’t play a good game,” explains the sports director. The scene is being processed and a punishment is planned. “We have discussed this topic very intensively with the team over the last few weeks. I don’t want to see the reaction, the coach doesn’t want to see it, nobody wants to see it. That’s not appropriate – and Karim knows that too.”

And further: “That’s simply not possible! In the end, the players have to accept it. The coach makes a decision. At the end, if a player is dissatisfied, he can make it known in the dressing room and can step on the gas the next day in training. But we don’t want to see that reaction and that’s why he will get a fine for it.”

Kovac also commented. “I think this decision is the right one,” said the coach. “If Karim watches the game again, he will see that it was one of his weaker ones. That’s part of it too. He has to learn that.”

Dazzling couple – well-known rapper as a player’s wife

Loredana’s comment on social media is causing no less of a stir than the hustle and bustle surrounding her husband himself. The Swiss woman with Kosovo-Albanian roots is one of the best-known artists in German-speaking hip-hop, climbing to the top of the charts with songs like “Sonnenbrille”, “Kein Plan” and “Eiskalt”. Her private life is regularly in the public eye – even before her relationship with Adeyemi.

The two have been married since 2023. The bigger star? More the rapper, not the German national player. Her Instagram account has around 3.1 million followers. In comparison, Adeyemi has significantly fewer: around 1.4 million followers.
