Robert Lewandowski, whose contract at Barcelona will soon expire, admits he has not yet made a decision about continuing his career at Camp Nou. After struggling with a number of injury problems this season, the veteran striker emphasized that he does not feel pressured to determine his next step, including whether to stay after the 2025/26 season.
In an interview with Polish journalist Bogdan Rymanowski earlier this month, Lewandowski said: “I still have time to make a decision. At the moment, I don’t know where I want to play. There’s no need to think about it yet. I don’t know which way to go, but there’s no pressure whatsoever about this.”
The 37-year-old striker emphasized that talks with Barcelona officials had not led to a tense situation, and that financial matters were not the main determining factor. “I haven’t spoken to the coach about clubs being interested,” he added. “It’s not about cutting my salary by half. It all depends on the club’s plans and what I want.”
