The coaches made three changes in the lineup before the third part of the World Cup in Le Grand-Bornand, France. For the first time in the season, Adam Václavík and Heda Mikolášová will appear among the elite, together with Tereza Vinklárková returning.
Adam Václavík performed very well in the IBU Cup, placing in the Top 10 in two out of five races. He will replace Jakub Štvrtecký. “The boys at the IBU Cup talked about a place in the World Cup. Adam, Mikys and Háček made it to the top ten. It just shows how balanced the men’s team is. Kuba also scored points in Östersund, which is good. He did some races, some not. The fact that he is now going to the IBU Cup is definitely not a demotion,” says the sports director Ondřej Rybář.
She also traveled to Lenzerheide, which hosts the third part of the IBU Cup Ilona Plecháčová. Jessica Jislova once again, after agreement with the coaches, he will prioritize preparation. “Jessica had a lot of downtime in preparation, and it was evident in her performances. She has to make up for the lack of training, and that’s why she went to Ridnaun now. We’re all heading towards the Olympics, and given that the next competition isn’t until January, it was now a good idea to do a more continuous block of preparation,” explains Rybář.
