Kodokan & COPE Puertollano Win Judo Awards in Cuenca | CLM Judo Federation Gala

Yesterday morning, Saturday, December 20, the 41st Gala of the Federation of Judo and Associated Sports was held in Cuenca in the magnificent setting of the Aula Magna of the University of Fine Arts of the city of Cuenca. A gala that was directed to perfection by Paqui Moreno, who demonstrated her skills as a presenter in an event that was dynamic, taking into account the numerous awards that were distributed in all modalities and categories.

On behalf of the Puertollan club, the Kodokan Club, Aitana Gutiérrez and Carlos Moreno (Women’s Kata Duo), Carlos Moreno (best career), David Sánchez (best Jiu-Jitsu referee) were awarded, as well as the Ruiz Moreno and Ruiz López families, highlighting the award for best club in the form of personal defense that was collected, as it could not be otherwise, by Paqui Moreno.

COPE PUERTOLLANO’S SPORTS TIME HAS ALSO HAD ITS RECOGNITION

In the section of plaques and mentions, the Puertollano station has seen its work with local sports recognized with the delivery, by the CLM Federation, of its Golden Quixote. An award that has also been received by La Tribuna de Talavera, the Cuenca City Council, the Cuenca Provincial Council and the Sports Councilor of the Cuenca city council.

The sports editor and director of COPE Puertollano, Fernando Romero, has expressed his gratitude “to the Federation for this recognition, since we always like to see how the time and affection that we put into each program we do to deliver sports information to our listeners is valued,” extending this gratitude in a more special way “to Paqui Moreno, because she is the maximum and main person responsible for making this sport stand out in the city of Puertollano, and not only by making her experience available to the students of her club, but being a sporting reference in the city with the organization of events related to this sport.”
