Badminton Netherlands appoints Kim Nielsen as Project Coach Badminton Netherlands is proud to announce the appointment of Danish top coach Kim Nielsen as Project Coach as of January 2026. With his extensive international experience and strong track record in the development of doubles players and elite athletes, Nielsen will play a key role in strengthening and innovating various talent and performance projects within the elite sports program. We appoint Kim Nielsen as project coach for player development on the one hand, and for his knowledge transfer and contribution to the development of coaches in the Netherlands on the other. “We are pleased to welcome Kim back to our organization,” says Barbara Mura (director of Badminton Netherlands). “His expertise, energy and proven ability to develop both players and coaches are an excellent fit with our long-term ambitions.” Badminton Netherlands looks forward to a successful collaboration and the positive impact that his expertise will have on Dutch top badminton.
