Guus Til is the Eredivisie player who pleased Kenneth Perez the most in the past half of the season. The analyst recorded this on the website of ESPN.

Although Til (27) played six times for the Dutch national team and has been a valued player at PSV for years, Perez’s expectations were apparently low.

When Perez is asked about his greatest stroke of luck, he mentions Til’s name. “He is not a great football player, but it is very good how he does it.”

“Sometimes he seems like a flawed player, but in reality he is so very useful. He keeps making deep runs. In the Netherlands you will automatically be released at some point,” said Perez.

Til has already played 25 official matches for PSV this season. He scored 14 goals and 4 assists.

Perez really enjoyed PSV during the first half of the season. “I like it when something new is invented that also works. PSV was initially unable to work towards something from the back, but with Jerdy Schouten as defender it was.”

Does Perez dare to call the people of Eindhoven the new champion? “After last season I don’t dare say that anymore, but there is little competition.”
