«We had three good days of training after Sunday’s match. For us the most important thing is to show continuity, especially after a victory. We want to continue working and playing in the same way and this is not always directly linked to the result. We know that a very difficult match awaits us. Right now, for our team, the most important thing is to train with great intensity and quality throughout the week and finish the work in the gym tomorrow ready to show the best version of ourselves in the next race. The week so far has been very solid in this respect. We know what we can do, but we need to find more stability in the way we express ourselves both in training and in matches. As after every success, this week was very important and should help us a lot from a confidence point of view, but, above all, on the awareness that when we do things in the right way we can achieve great results. We must aim for results, which will arrive sooner or later, but without losing sight of the process, which is the most important thing. Brescia? Just look at the standings to get all the answers: it’s the same team that reached the final last year. I have to admit that I really like the way they play, the chemistry and the atmosphere they have on the pitch. It’s a team that always seems to know what to do at every moment of the game, with many excellent players both near the basket and on the perimeter, all very experienced. I think that’s why I’m in the lead. I repeat what I always say: if we are ourselves and play as we want and as we should, we don’t have to worry too much about who we are in front of. This is the approach with which we approach the match. We know it will be a difficult race, but we must first of all be ourselves and be the best possible version of ourselves.”
