Jutta & Jake: Drogeham Villa Plans Fail

DROGEHAM – Rumors that skating champion Jutta Leerdam and her partner Jake Paul have bought a house in Drogeham are incorrect. The current owner of the house, Harm van der Bij, reacts with surprise to the persistent rumors from last weekend. “I know exactly who is going to buy the house. And that is not Jutta Leerdam,” he told De Telegraaf.

Van der Bij has been receiving repeated calls since Monday morning. Various websites and juice channels wrote that Leerdam and Paul would be interested in the villa with swimming pool and horse stables. “It’s nonsense. The story is spreading like wildfire, but I really don’t know anything,” says the owner, who indicates that the house is already ‘under offer’ by an acquaintance of his. The house was for sale for 2.2 million and was a hit on Funda.

The Flexible Broker also approached by RTV NOF, says he knows nothing. “Very crazy story,” is his short response. He does not want to make any further statements about the current offer. Monique Leerdam, the skater’s mother, responded to the rumors via Instagram on Monday. She denied that her daughter bought the house.

No secret purchase through third parties

According to Van der Bij, the suggestion that someone else would buy the house on behalf of the couple is also not an option. “That sometimes happens in America. But in this case I am one hundred percent sure that it is not the case. The buyer is a good acquaintance of mine, and he just wants to live there himself,” Van der Bij said in the newspaper.
