AC Milan added goals through Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot. However, the referee disallowed both goals due to violations and offside positions during the goal.

When AC Milan was too focused on attacking, Sassuolo found momentum.

In the 77th minute, Armand Lauriente maximized his quick collaboration with Andrea Pinamonti before firing a placing shot that shook Maignan’s goal and changed the score to 2-2.
