HV71 is losing a talent for next season, which Expressen previously revealed.
¨Now Swiss Friborg confirm that Jamiro Reber will join the club.
Roger Rönnberg can thus add an SHL-merited adept to the squad.
Already in November, Expressen could tell that the 19-year-old Swiss would leave Jönköping to move home.
Now Fribourg-Gottéron confirm that Jamiro Reber is moving to the club after the current season and has signed a two-year contract (until 2028).
– Jamiro Reber is considered a talented player in Swiss hockey, we want to continue to develop his potential, says sporting director Gerd Zenhäusern.
That is why he is recruited
The 19-year-old came to HV71’s organization from the Langnau club SCL Tigers in 2023. After that, he has, among other things, played several junior World Cups with Switzerland and broke through in the SHL last year. But from next season he will have Roger Rönnberg as coach.
Among other things, the forward will get a proper financial boost in his new club, according to Expressen’s information from the month of November. This as the Swiss clubs continue to be affected by an import quota and thus want to secure their homegrown talents.
Reber is preparing in this now for his third JVM.
