Italian Archery Paralympians: Rovereto Training Camp

The meeting of the National Youth Para-Archery team started today and will end on Sunday 27 April. Under the orders of the coaches Ezio Luvisetto and Alessandra Mosci eight young archers will be present in Trentino for the meeting called “Arco Senza Barriere”.

In the Open Allievi Olympics, Gabriel De Toffoli (Arcieri Del Piave), Diego Boaglio (Arcieri Delle Alpi) and Elisabetta Petris (Arcieri Cormòns) were called up. In the compound Open Juniores the choice fell on Gabriele Saccoman (Arcieri Padovani) and Gabriele Pintus (Arcieri Franchi) while Sofia Forneris (Arcieri Del Cangrande) will participate as a student in the compound Open. Finally, Francesco Maria Sorato (Frecce Azzurre) was also called up in the men’s W1 Juniores.

For the young archers of the Paralympic national team, the event of the seasonal year will be the European Para Youth Games which will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, from 21 to 28 July.
