O Inter is close to an agreement with defender Dória. Despite being linked to Atlas, from Mexico, until June 2027, the athlete was left out of the club’s pre-season and is awaiting contract termination to make the next step in your career official.
At 31 years old, the defender remains in Rio de Janeiro, where he has kept in shape with daily work led by a private physiotherapist. The goal is to return to Brazil, to be closer to family.
Revealed by Botafogo, Dória was sold at a young age, aged 19, to Olympique de Marseille, from France, who also loaned him to São Paulo, Granada, from Spain, and Yeni Malatyaspor, from Turkey.
He has been playing in Mexican football for eight seasons, having played for Santos Laguna and, in the last two seasons, for Atlas.
At Beira-Rio, Dória is seen as a potential replacement for Vitão who, although it was not officially announced, it was negotiated with Flamengo. Investment in another defender cannot be ruled out either.
