Il Mio Monf: Book Presentation in San Salvatore Monferrato

Tomorrow, Friday 19 December at 9 pm, the book by Alessandro Trisoglio entitled “My Monf”.

The book “My Monf”

The volume, published by Sisifo Edizioni, is dedicated to the history and protagonists of the 67 years that have characterized the sporting and human story ofl Monferrato, lto the San Salvatore team. The author and the Mayor will be present Corrado Tagliabue, the team managers, starting from the President Luca Olivieri, “old and new” players and, above all, many fans.

Thus the author Alessandro Trisoglio:

‘My Monf’ is a journey into emotions. The emotions of the people who confessed their feelings towards a football team which is, in reality, much more than a football team but a real family, united not by kinship ties but by love towards a shirt, towards those yellow and blue colors which form a personal and exclusive sentimental rainbow.

And it’s a journey into my personal emotions. A return with memories to years lived with enthusiasm, with passion, alongside people who left a strong mark on the paths of my life. And not just football ones. Thinking back to people like Giorgio Tinazzi, like Piero Roncati, like ‘captain’ Piero Casalone, reliving them also in the memory of others, triggers posthumous feelings of gratitude for those who were able to be… an important trail to follow, an example, on and off the pitch, of behaviors and lifestyles.

A 67-year history that is destined to last for a long time to come because the management group led by Luca Olivieri knows what playing football means: they learned it growing up in an environment full of stimuli and important examples.
