At the end of three contested rounds, the Tricolores defeated the Thais Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Supissara Paewsampran, world No. 3 (14-21, 21-14, 21-18).
After their defeat on Wednesday against the Chinese Jiang/Weithis success in their second group match completely revives Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue in the race to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition.

A decisive meeting against the Japanese on Friday

Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue are participating in the Wolrd Tour Finals for the third time in their careers. They reached the semi-finals in 2020, during their first participation.
