Horner F1 Return: Latest News & Rumours

The story of Christian Horner is now well known. The Briton was suddenly fired by Red Bull in July due to poor results and reached a settlement with the racing team from Milton Keynes. Since then, there have been plenty of rumors about a return of Horner, who is currently bridging a period of gardening leave. Then he would like to get back to work.

The Aston Martin team was mentioned, but it soon became clear that that is not an option after the news that Adrian Newey will become the team boss in 2026. The Telegraph now reports that Horner is said to be in discussions with Alpine about a role and a share package. Horner is known to want to buy a share in a team. He is said to have now gathered a group of investors around him.

There is an opportunity with Alpine, because 24 percent of the shares are owned by an American consortium called Otro Capital. Top athletes such as Anthony Joshua and Rory Mcllroy are associated with it, but the company would like to sell the shares. For Horner that is an opportunity to step in, something he would now talk about with Flavio Briatore.

However, that does not mean that a deal is just in the works. The publication states that Horner did not deny the conversations without commenting further. To be continued, no doubt.
